Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital Welcomes Dr. Candace Hersey-Benner

Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Candace Hersey-Benner. Dr. Hersey-Benner is a 2007 graduate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She recently completed a year long internship in the exotics department at the Foster Hospital for small animals at Tufts University. She is an active member of the AAV (Association of Avian Veterinarians), AEMV (Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians) and the ARAV (Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians). Her interests include avian and exotic pet medicine and surgery, canine and feline dermatology and canine sports medicine. Her interest in canine sports medicine has led her to volunteering as a field veterinarian in the Can-Am International Dog Sled race.
Dr. Hersey-Benner originates from Caribou, Maine and is pleased to remain in New England. Along with her husband, Dan, she enjoys the company of her two Australian Shepherds, Molly and Mae, 4 cats, Murray, Mina, Mac and Spud, her Holland lop eared rabbits, Minh and Moose and her Oriental Fire Bellied toads.
