My name is Gina and I am your Professional Pet Groomer at Roaring Brook Pet Care Center. I offer an extensive array of services, some of which include, all breed clipping and styling, cat grooming, specialty shampoos, conditioning treatments, and dental maintenance. I am always available to the pet owner and will take the time needed to discuss with you what it is you want for your pet.

I was hired here over 10 years ago as a kennel attendant and after a year and a half began a thorough, one year, all breed grooming training program under the supervision of another well respected Pet Stylist. Over the years I have traveled to numerous trade shows and seminars to keep up with the new styles and trends and am now experienced in everything from Poodles to Persians, Sheepdogs to Shar-Peis and Terriers to Tom Cats.

No matter what your pet's individual needs, they all get one on one personal attention and will be treated like the beloved family member I know they are. And although a lot of them actually enjoy the grooming process, we all know that some animals would rather be doing something else like chasing balls or stretching out in a sunny spot. In cases like these when a pet is scared, has special needs or just doesn't want to be here, I will take extra time to assure that the grooming process is as comfortable as possible. I take pride in being able to deal with "challenging" cases and frequently and successfully groom animals that have been deemed "ungroomable" for whatever reasons. I believe that the key to it is having a patient, understanding, and confident attitude. Sometimes it's as simple as reassuring the pet in a calm voice or just some extra scratching behind the ears.

What I really love about my job is simply, the animals. I know every day when I get up that I'm going to get more dog kisses and kitty purrs than I can handle and that is what makes me happy. I don't think I could've found a better career for myself and I consider myself lucky because of it.

My name is Lori and I am one of the groomers at Roaring Brook Kennels. Animals have always been a part of my life, professionally I have always worked in the animal field. I have experience working in pet stores and veterinary hospitals. In 1999 I began training as a professional dog and cat groomer, and have been grooming ever since. I am pleased to be a part of the grooming team at Roaring Brook Kennels.
